4 months

Hey lil miss,

You got your 4 month shot's yesterday and you were a trooper!!! You cried for just a little and then went to sleep and when we got to Granny's to visit you were the happy baby you normally are.

Tidbits for this month:
March 12th: You rolled from your back to your tummy for the first time for both mommy & daddy!!! We were very exicited for you & you wore yourself out that day trying it many many times each time you played..I think you were trying to master your technique.

You try to sit up when we lay you down on your back. You love to sit up and although you're not quite there yet, mommy thinks you will be sitting on your own soon.

You're nosey. You stop eating if someone new walks in the room or if there is too much going on around for you too look at and see what all is going on!

You weigh 12 lbs, 12 oz, your head is 15 & 3/4, and your length is 24.5. The doc is pleased with your growth and besides the cold you seem to get from time to time you haven't gotten sick. We are now feeding you cerel in the evenings along with your bottle. Next week we will try fruits and introduce a new fruit each week.

What a weekend

Well this weekend I had the pig weigh in for the LCF. We weighed in a little over 300 hogs. Saturday after I got done helping with the pig weigh in, a friend of ours was having a get together for his 30th birthday... We didn't have a sitter, but unexpectedly my sis CJ came in town and she was willing to watch lil miss while we went out to celebrate with our friend.

The birthday boy!! Another one joins the dirty 30 crowd!



Sunday was a beautiful spring day & after helping with the pig weigh in for one hour and introducing lil miss to the sound & smell of piggy's & everyone who helps with the committee. We enjoyed a family walk & playing outside!

A little luck of the Irish

last  year just a few  days after St. Patty's day we found out we were expecting and here we are a year later with lil Miss celebrating her first St. Patty's day.

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

tonight we went to dinner with my family for my dad's birthday... It is always wonderful when the family gets together and my Grandma was there and I haven't seen her since Christmas... My bil B also had his b-day yesterday along with my friend & co-work Al!!! Happy Birthday everyone!!

It's a Shoot

for our fiend S's 30th. On Saturday we hosted a claybird shoot. There was a small crowd and we began shooing around 1:00ish and they finshed up a little before dark and then Mr. C bbqes for us all.

Afterwards they had plans to go to the bar, but Mr C didn't even make it much longer after everyone left.  

3 months

Well lil miss you have made it to the 3 month mark and mommy has started back to work and you have started going to the babysitters. So far for the 3 days you have gone, we have done well with the adjustment and I am hoping that you & i will continue to do well.

Tidbits for this month:
Week 8: you started sleeping through the night!!!
Week 10: You found your fingers & thumb & started sucking them...We tried putting the mittens back on you when you were napping & at night while you were sleeping, but you were not napping well & were waking up in the middle of the night & the mittens were soaked, so we decided not to fight the finger sucking battle right now & you have gone back to sleeping through the night.
Week 12-13: You have started reaching for toys more & more while playing.
You love to sit up and watch everything around you. You are eating 6 ounces every four hours and 8 ounces at your evening feeding.
