Halloween

We started off the evening with a visit from Grandma at our house. 

We then headed to J&H's house to trick or treat in their neighborhood.

Our first stop of the evening was at Sissy & D's.  A cousin picture before heading out to trick or treat.

Lil Miss C was a princess...i took full advantage of a generic princess costume this year. 

Littlest C was a pumpkin and enjoyed seeing all of the trick-or-treaters who stopped by Sissy & D's.

A little comparison

So i have tried not do compare them to much, but it just happens...tonight when i was done posting Littlest C's 6 month tidbits i went and looked at Lil Miss C's 6 months. I was surprised to discover that at 6 months of age they both are/were 26 1/2 inches long and head circumference is 16 1/2....just one of those crazy coincidences.

Littlest C 6 months

Dear Littlest C,

Wow I can't believe that it has been 6 months already...where has the time gone. You weigh 14 lbs, 11 oz; are 26 1/2 inches tall and your head circumference is 16 1/2. You are so close to sitting by yourself, i imagine it will happen in the next week or so where you don't fall over when i let go of your fingers. You are a rolling fool and are getting close to starting to crawl. Your eating 6 oz every three hours and have been eating rice cereal, apples, bananas and pears twice a day. We get to introduce a sippy cup to you now, eat solids 3 times a day and introduce vegetables, beginning with the yellow ones and moving towards green ones.

Had to share the sassiness of how you through your hands over your eyes. You do this a lot when you are eating.

Littlest C's first bath

by herself! Yes it may be hard to believe but Littlest C has not had that many baths completely by herself. Her sister just loves to take a bath and i have a feeling Littlest C will be the same, which i love because i do not want them to be afraid of the water.

She had a blast playing with the cups and toys.

Fall into Fun

Today we went and had lunch at the sausage dinner with my parents.

Then we headed down to the farm house to inventory the attic. While waiting on the Grandma and JR to arrive, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and played on the rock. I just love this rock and would love to have it at my house, maybe one day...

We definitely had some interesting finds while inventorying the attic. I hope to end up with one of the trunks that we found. Mr. C stopped by for a lil bit and found this cardinals hat, took him back to his childhood.

Luckily both girls were able to get a nap in while my mom, sisters and i were cleaning because after nap time we headed to a Toddle Halloween party. There were activities set up for the kiddos to do, a hayride to go on, pumpkins to paint, face painting and a story time.

Littlest C enjoyed all of the people watching. 

I was a little apprehensive about going since Mr. C was not going to be able to go with me and i was going to run into a bunch of people who i went to high school with. I am so glad that we went though, Lil Miss C had a blast and it was good to connect with other moms who have kids the same ages as my girls. Especially since i need to make some new girlfriends. 

Just a playin

Tonight Mr. C was playin with Lil Miss C in her rocket ship and he climbed in, so i was lucky enough to snap a few pictures of them playin.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins

We are so extremely glad that our pumpkins did so well this year!!! But we have tons of them still. Tonight we were walking in the garden, so i snapped a few with Littlest C and of course Lil Miss C had to join in and have her picture taken too.

Mr. C then decided that he was going to try and sell them tomorrow at his dad's shop, so we loaded the trailer and this is what we have left after givin about 50-75 away already. 

C Family Photos

We took our C Family Pictures on the 8th. On Sunday the 13th, the photographer emailed and said she had our pictures ready, so tonight i stopped and picked up the cd. We used katiepacephotography instead of Clinz this time because she is expecting and cancelled her fall mini session and was not able to take on any more sessions this fall, she recommended Katie, so we booked with her. Katie did a good job, but we are used to CLinz and how she does her sessions. I am very pleased with how our photos turned out because i was frustrated after our session. I was frustrated because Mr. C was crappy, Lil Miss C was crappy and not wanting to cooperate with having her picture taken and Littlest C just really wasn't giving me the giggles and smiles i am used to seeing, but i have to remind myself that is what happens when you are taking photos with 2 children.... a few of my favs

C Country Craze

Yesterday was our annual C Country Craze. This year we moved the kiddos C Country Craze to the morning. We invited about 30 of our family and friends with kiddos and we had about 20 kids make it. We got their hayride started around 10:00AM.

But first Mr. C handed out stickers to each of them, explaining that they would need to hold onto their sticker until we got to the pumpkin patch and they would find the pumpkin with the matching sticker on it.

We let everyone have free range to pick another pumpkin and this is what Lil Miss C picks out.

KoBo & JoKo came later and picked their pumpkins cause he had a soccer game in the morning.

After everyone left about 1:00PM, we put the girls down for their naps and relaxed for a little bit ourselves and then finished preparing for the evening festivities. My mom came and picked up the girls around 5:00P. She watched them for us overnight and had a blast with them spoiling them with a hotel with a spa bath tub for the night. 

Everyone started showing up around 6ish... 

We had a smaller crowd for the evening this year, but everyone still had a great time. We only took one hay wagon out for the evening ride. 

We had a beautiful day with excellent weather this year!
