My Christmas Present

Today we picked up my Christmas Present....new bedroom furniture!!!

The furniture that we had in our room will go into the spare bedroom which we are making into Lil Miss C's big girl room.

Christmas is ending

Today we celebrated our last Christmas, the B Family Christmas.

Bitter sweet day

Today was a bitter sweet day. We have been car shopping for a few weeks now and we have decided on what we want and it has worked out financially for us to be able to do it, so today i traded in my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire.

While i am SUPER excited to have a new SUV, i am sad to be getting rid of  my car. I have had it since 2002, 10 years, lots and lots of memories in my FIRST car. I will miss it but it is time to move onto a bigger car.

Christmas Day

So we woke up on Christmas morning at Mama & Papa C's house like we always do, but this year we brought Lil Miss C a present from Santa for her to open before everyone else arrived.

Then after everyone else showed up, we started opening presents....needless to say, the parents said they were cutting back this year, but it sure did not seem so as everyone got a ton of great stuff.

After breakfast we headed down to visit with Grandma W, UB&AK

We then headed home for our own Christmas.

Helping Daddy open his present. This year Mr. C and I did bigger presents, he got a gun safe and i am going to get new bedroom furniture, so we just need a small gift to open with Lil Miss C.

All of the festivities wore her out, this was right before nap time.

Merry Christmas!! We had a wonderful day celebrating.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent with the H Family. After Church we went to D&M's for dinner and a fun filled evening.

After the kiddos opened all of their presents and Grandma H opened her's. We played our rob your neighbor game and had a wonderful evening.

Christmas begins

Our Christmas festivities began this year on December 8 with Mr. C's extended family Christmas  Mr. C and Lil Miss C went as I had to work.

We then took a lil break with birthday fun before more Christmas celebrations. On December 22 the W's decided to have everyone together for the evening, normally they all celebrate on Christmas Day and we haven't been able to go, but as everyone is getting older, they decided to do it the weekend before Christmas Day this year. After visiting there for a while, we left and headed to J&H's for Christmas with S&K and J.

Today Sunday December 23 we headed to my parent's house for Christmas with my siblings. To say it was crazy is an understatement. I really didn't enjoy how we opened presents this year. Everyone just started opening and it was hard to enjoy watching everyone open their presents. Hopefully next year we can take turns or do something different.

Birthday Dinner

Happy Birthday Mr. C!!! To celebrate we spent the day together, got a little Christmas shopping done, went to a Dr's appointment and then had dinner with our families at Mr. D's...

At dinner we had Lil Miss C open up a present and we announced that we found out we are having a lil girl!

20 weeks

Today was my 20 week appointment and the big ultrasound, and Mr. C's birthday!!! I weighed 136 lbs, blood pressure was 110/60 and littlest C's heart rate was 162. The ultrasound looked wonderful and our baby girl is growing just as she should be.

I wanted to do something creative to announce what we are having this time instead of just calling everyone, so since our Dr's apt was on Mr. C's birthday, we invited everyone to dinner and i got lil Miss C a big sister shirt and got a lil brother and lil sister onsie, so she can open it after dinner and let everyone know what we are having.

The good ole 30

This weekend I celebrated my 30th Birthday....no big dirty thirty party for me. Instead I had Thursday & Friday off work and Mr. C ended up having both days off as well so we spent the days together car shopping and just hanging out. On my birthday, we went and test drove a few vehicles and took lil Miss C to visit Santa at my hometown bank.

We then met my sis CJ for dinner at Olive Garden and drove through Christmas Light displays!

Monkey See, Monkey Do, Curious Lil Miss C is Turning Two!

Let's Go Bananas!! Lil Miss C loves the Monkey...aka. Curious George, so it set the stage and background for her party. Invites were sent to her Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins from the mom in the yellow hat. Mommy and Daddy had gotten her a stuffed George and a book that she opened on her birthday, which i used as the decoration on the gift table. Other decorations i used were just the Happy Birthday banners and balloons.

she had to put them on and

wore them the entire time she opened her presents!!

After presents we enjoyed cake and ice cream. I had wanted to make some monkey cupcakes, but unfortunately time just did not allow for it, so she just got plain ole yellow cake with chocolate icing instead.

She did a great job blowing out her candle all by herself.
