Annual Mother Daughter Weekend

This year for mother daughter weekend, after driving and relaxing at the hotel on Friday evening, we enjoyed the day on Saturday at a horse park. This year we had the 2 newest additions to our family along with us.

We had an enjoyable time at the park, we watched the parade of breeds, explored the museums, watched the show of champions and got stuck in the rain, we rain through down pours and headed back to the hotel.

And of course once we got back to the hotel, the rain had stopped. The kiddos took a short but well needed nap, me and my sis CJ tried to get some sun, but it didn't stay out long, and then we all cleaned up for dinner.

Splish Splash cousing bath time! Lil miss was all about trying to beat up on Lfrog all weeknd.



We went to a resturant on a river and enjoyed the evening.

and once i again i did not snap any picutres of my sistas & momma...we all had a wonderful weekend spending time together.

Tidbits for this month:
You have been continuing to crawl, and pulling yourself up on everything. We even had to lower your bed. You have had a fever and we gave you infant tylonel for the first time. You have your top 2 eye teeth and 2 front teeth that are trying to come in.
You are a motor mouth and mover, you just want to see everything and know all that is going on.

V's Bday

We got invited to our friend's and close by neighbor's daughters 1st bday party.

Here she is enjoying a popscile after her cake!

We rotated between playing inside in the air conditioning

and playing outside in the pool.

It was a fun day, glad we were asked to share V's first bday with her.

Staycation faircation

I have been helping with out local fair for about 4 years now, last year i decided to take the week off as vacation as well and i did it again this year. The weekend before the fair, Mr. C, lil miss & I headed to the cabin with our boat. Mr. C was doing a side job on Sat, so we were planning to take the boat out after we got done working on Sat and then again on Sunday before heading home. Well we ended up staying Sunday night & he worked again on Monday. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend on our boat and at the cabin all by ourselfs. We then came home to a busy busy week of volunteering and enjoying the fair.

To end my staycation, we headed to AK's UB's for Sunday Funday pool party. It was a lot of fun.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July. I always work some part of the holiday weekend and this year i worked the evening of the 4th, so i watched the fireworks all by myself, well with a few coworkers, but Mr. C was at home with lil miss. We enjoyed our weekend at home by helping my dad fix our boat, bbqing with family and enjoying the outdoors.
