Grandma C's Internment

Grandma C was created and at the time of her funeral, the family decided to wait to have the graveside burial at the C Family Reunion. Yesterday we had the service, the reunion and then continued to visit with family at C&K's house.

Labor Day

We stayed around T-town for the holiday weekend. Enjoyed relaxing at home & seining the catfish pond.

Happy 1st Birthday M'Rose

B & the boys and me and the girls got on the road early and headed out west for M'Rose's 1st birthday party. The kiddos traveled fairly well. When we arrived, we let the kids play outside before the party started.

Then the festivities began.

After the party we went back to the hotel and the kiddos played in the pool

After swimming everyone hung out in the hotel rooms and I went and met my friend SC for dinner. It was great to visit and catch up with her. Miss her and wished we lived closer together.

Walkin for Dot's Tot's

My Grandma C was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. At that time she under went chemo and radiation and came through treatments okay. Earlier this year they found it in the other breast and this time she decided to have the breast removed. To honor her fight and journey, we participated in the Relay for Life walk.

I can only hope that I am like her when I get as "young" as she is.

My Great Aunt G turned 90, so we had a birthday party to celebrate!

and had Lil Miss C had swim lessons this week. She did amazing!

Heaven gained an angel this week

Mr.C's Grandma C passed away on Monday June 16th. Words can not describe how special this woman was to Mr. C and myself. She helped raise Mr. C and they were extremely close. When I first met Mr. C, he was living with her, and when I moved back to the area I became very close to her as well. She will be dearly missed. It has been a week filled with remembering her. Love you so much Grandma C! We will miss you incredibly.

Happy Fathers Day

Mr. C went golfing with his dad and brothers for their Annual Father's Day golf outing. While he was golfing the girls and i played at home until he was done.

While they were golfing they got the call that GGC was not doing well. After they got down golfing we met Mr. C at the nursing home with the rest of the family to visit with her.

Happy Easter!

We celebrated with opening Easter baskets at our house.

Then went to church at St. Alphonsus with the C Family. and had an egg hunt and brunch at GAG's house.

We went home for a short while for the girls to nap and then headed to GGC's house for Easter dinner. After dinner we had our own egg hunt at our house.

Annual M-D Weekend

This weekend we had our annual Mother Daughter weekend. This year we went to the Lake of the Ozarks and enjoyed staying in a house on the lake. It was a wonderful weekend relaxing and visiting with my sisters and mom.

This morning we went to church for Cam's baptism.
