Fun in the Sun

Littlest C's sitter has been off all week on vacation, so I took of a few days & my mom watched her a few days. On our days off, we enjoyed soaking up the sun & playing.

Slip-n-Slide Fun

Kbug & Bbop came over for a lil while this morning and since it was hot we busted out the slip-n-slide. The girls had a blast!

Just keep Swimming

We have been enjoying mama & papa's pool.

and had Lil Miss C had swim lessons this week. She did amazing!

Water...Water...Water....and some fish

I was off on Friday, so after Littlest C's 4 month dr apt, i headed down to my AJ's to meet my mom and JR to go swimming at the Crestwood Aquatic Center. 

After a few hours of swimming, we got ready to head back to AJ, waiting patiently on Grandma and JR. 

We then enjoyed dinner at my AM's, visited with the family and then the girls and i headed home. Saturday we enjoyed playing in Lil Miss C's pool and bbqing at home. Suzie was lovin the pool as well. 

Sunday we went out to the Farm and helped sain the catfish pond.

Lil Miss C didn't have any problems playing in the mud or swimming in the pond. She had a blast. 

Afterwards we enjoyed some fried catfish, a wonderful holiday weekend spent with family. 

A steal of a find

The girls sitter was on vacation this week so Grandma watched the girls on Monday and Tuesday, i worked late on Wednesday so JR came and watched them until Mr. C got home from work and then Thursday and Friday i was off from working the weekend so that i could watch them. We had a fun filled week. On Monday Mr. C came home with a surprise....he had gotten a blow up blow from the jobsite he was working at. It was perfect timing since the girls were home with Grandma and we were finally getting that summer heat... Lil Miss C loved it and had a blast playing in it all week.

Thursday we went to Mama & Papa's pool and enjoyed the afternoon swimming. 

Mommy Daze

Littlest C started at the sitters this week on Monday July 22, my first day back to work was not until Wednesday. I took advantage of having the 2 days off to myself. I cleaned the house on Monday. Tuesday I went for a long walk, then helped my sis JR unpack a few boxes, came home picked green beans, then headed to the parents pool and laid out for the afternoon and finished reading a book that i started last summer. Before picking up the girls, i spoiled myself with a pedicure. A nice few relaxing days before going back to work on Wednesday July 24th.

Family Fun Night

Tonight we had family fun night at AK &UB's. We went swimming, enjoyed some bbq and visited with family.

Today I spent with my good friend MB, yesterday was her birthday and she is off all week. So we enjoyed Mr. C's parents pool and laid out & swam. Littlest C was great and luckily it wasn't too hot for her. It was great to catch up with MB!

This afternoon we went to Mr. C's parents pool and B and the Boys joined us. It was a hot afternoon, so it felt great to be at the pool, plus it was nice for Lil Miss C to have someone to play with besides mom.

After nap time, we ventured over to the parent's pool. It ended up getting cloudy and not the best weather for swimming, but we still had fun none the less! 

Happy Birthday MaMa

We spent the evening at mama & papa's pool for Mama's birthday. We all brought a dish for dinner and enjoyed each other's company and watching the kiddos play. 

It never fails that i can get a good picture of everyone, so these are the best that i got. 

Adventures at the park and pool

Lil Miss C has been getting to know the local park, we went and played and walked before heading to the new pool. She is still not quite sure about the slides, but loves to swing.

We met my parents, DMan & Lfrog and JR for a swim at the new aquatic center. The pool just opened this summer and this was our first time to visit. The kiddos had a blast.

A weekend at home

It seems like it has been a while since we have spent the weekend at home. I love it when we don't have plans and can do whatever comes up, which is exactly what we did this weekend. We went swimming at the parents pool and helped the neighbor load & unload  hay.

Lake Bound for Memorial Day weekend

So after spending the afternoon getting us all ready to go, we were lake bound by 4:30PM on Thursday!! Mr. C was going to be working not that far from the cabin on Friday so that is why we got to head up there early and enjoy an extra day at the lake!!

Once we arrived and unpacked a few things...Lil Miss was checking out the golf cart.

On Friday Lil Miss C and i got our boat all cleaned up and ready for the weekend, relaxed and played while waiting for the others to begin arriving for the weekend. She was so close to walking around in daddy's shoes.

Friday evening we set up our tent and enjoyed everyone's company as they arrived for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday we enjoyed lots of swimming, boating and good company. Lil Miss C loved being in the lake water.

and got used to being on the boat. She didn't like it when we first put the boat on and when we would take the boat off the water. But i think that was because she was hot when we put on the water and just tired when we took off the water. None the less she did amazing palying and being on the boat for the weekend!

We left fairly early on Monday morning so we could get home, do laundry, mow grass, and repack Mr. C as he was going back to the cabin to stay and work the rest of the week. After we got some chores done and Lil Miss C had her nap, we wentover to Mr' C's parents pool and enjoyed swimming and bbqing for the evening.
