Labor Day

We stayed around T-town for the holiday weekend. Enjoyed relaxing at home & seining the catfish pond.

Happy 4th of July

I worked on the 4th of July but our friends and semi-close neighbors were having their big 4th of July fireworks show this year on the 5th, so I got to enjoy the show with everyone!

Happy Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day weekend at home this year. Mr. C was trying to cut hay amidst the weather. We enjoyed playing in the sprinkler and helping where we could with the hay.

We celebrated with opening Easter baskets at our house.

Then went to church at St. Alphonsus with the C Family. and had an egg hunt and brunch at GAG's house.

We went home for a short while for the girls to nap and then headed to GGC's house for Easter dinner. After dinner we had our own egg hunt at our house.

Christmas Day

Since we stayed the night at our house we had Lil Miss C put out cookies and milk for Santa and were we able to have her open her big present first thing in the morning.

Christmas Eve with the H's

The girls dressed and ready to head to Christmas Eve Mass. 

After mass we went to L&B's for Christmas. The kiddos were entertained by How the Grinch stole Christmas while everyone ate and until we started opening presents. 

Patiently waiting until it was her turn to open. 

After the kiddos got done, us adults played Rob Your Neighbor and we headed home just shortly before mid-night.

This was the first year in 10 years since Mr. C and I have been dating that we did not spend the night at his dad's house. This was an extremely hard tradition for us to break. Since my sis B&B got married my family has not had Christmas on Christmas Day, however the first year 2003 we were dating i broke my tradition of staying at my parents house and stayed with him at his dad's house. Mr. C's brother stopped staying the night about 5-6 years ago & Sissy stopped 2-3 years ago, so it has just been us. Well this year Mr. C decided that we would spend Christmas Eve at our house.

C Christmas

After the B Christmas the girls and I headed to my parents house for our C family Christmas. Mr C was sick so he stayed home. MJ, B & M'Rose didn't make it in for the weekend due to the weather so it ended up just being my parents, my sisters & B, my girls and my nephews at Christmas.

It was a little bit better than last year but i still didn't like out we didn't make everyone open one at a time and wait.

This year we decided to only get presents for our godchildren. So here is LFrog opening his present from us.

She was so sleepy and fighting a nap despite Grandma's best efforts to put her to sleep. 

We still kept our tradition of drawing names and Mr. C drew B's name and got him some throwing knives.

B Christmas

This morning J&H came over and we had our Christmas with S&K & GpaJ. KBug & BeBop were with H's family for the weekend so that's why they weren't there.

Although it was a very busy time with them, it is always great to spend time with them.

W's Xmas

We started our busy day with haircuts for the family. I then headed into work and Mr. C headed home to visit with S&K & GpaJ. They got to our house late last night and I didn't get to visit with them much because i wasn't feeling well and had to go to work. After I got home from work we visited an lilttle out our house and then headed to AK&UB's house for the W's Christmas. AK had trivia for us all to play and it was a lot of fun. Littlest C did well, but we didn't think to bring the pack-n-play so she was fighting going to sleep with all the commotion, so we called it a night around 10:00P.

S Holiday Party

Tonight was Sissy & D's annual holiday party. I was looking forward to a night out and visiting with family and friends. However I felt awful all day at work and felt sick all evening. We still went though and i enjoyed visiting but still we did not stay late and I made the best of the evening.

C Christmas & Birthday Brownies

Today started our Christmases with the C Christmas. Before heading to it, Lil Miss C wanted to celebrate my birthday by making cupcakes! I convinced her to just make brownies instead, after all its my birthday and brownies are way easier than cupcakes!
