A chillly start with a hot hot end

I had vacation days on Thursday & Friday before Memorial Day weekend, although I was off work, they were super busy. Thursday started off with a stop at work for a meeting, then it was off for lil misses 6 months photos, then to her 6 month well check up and then onto a few shops before going to C & J M's to help them load the uhall since they were closing on their house on Friday. Then on Friday lil miss & I spent the morning shopping, grocery & looking for a few things she needed for the weekend, then when Mr. C got home he started on yard work and I started making baby food. I forgot to snap some pictures, but i made squash, pears, and sweet potatoes for lil miss C. It really wasn't that hard, just a little time consuming but i should have enough food for her for almost two weeks!! Then on Saturday morning Mr. C had to work and I got all of our stuff ready to head to the Lake for the rest of the weekend. We got on our way around noonish and about half way there we got stuck in a hail storm for at least 20 mins. It was a chilly afternoon and noone got out on the water, but we enjoyed sitting around a fire and fishing in the pond. Mr. C got a four pld bass from the pond & lil miss got to see her first fish!!! Later on that day he caught a catfish, wish she kissed before he released it back into the pond.

On Sunday the weather was turning around and it was warm enough to get out on the lake. We did not take our boat, so we were riding on Mr. C's parents boat. After we sat through a few rain showers, the sun came out and it was a good day on the water.

This was lil miss's first time on the boat, wearing a life jacket, etc. She did okay but she has some getting used to it to do. We also went out on Monday and she did much better, only time and having her in it will help!

The C Family on the water!

On Monday afternoon, lil miss enjoying the boat with PaPa & Dad.

We got home and bbqed at our house to end our Memorial Day weekend.
